Our mild Bugishu is sourced from regions of North East Uganda including the slopes of Mt.Elgon, which is the oldest and largest solitary volcano in East Africa. Covering an area of 3,500 square kilometres on the Ugandan/Kenyan border, Mt. Elgon is considered among the best sources of coffee in the country, with high altitudes and a propitious climate producing beans that reveal a very clean flavour and distinctive aromas when roasted, making them ideal for your favourite filter coffees at any time of day.

Timothy O. ★★★★★

I’ve been brewing this every morning since I got it, and the smooth, mild flavor is exactly what I needed to replace my usual dark roast. Knowing it comes from the slopes of Mt. Elgon adds a nice story to my coffee routine.

Ella L. ★★★★★

First sip and I could immediately taste the difference from standard store beans — this coffee is noticeably smooth without any bitter edge. The fact it's grown on volcanic slopes makes sense given the clean finish.

Joseph ★★★★★

The volcanic soil from Mt. Elgon gives this coffee a smooth, mild flavor that's perfect for my morning routine. I'm impressed with how clean and balanced it tastes, no bitterness at all.
