Sourced from Colombian coffee plantations in the Andes mountain range, our San Agustin is a mild strength bean that benefits from the cool shades of banana and other tropical trees during growth: when the coffee cherries are grown below the canopies of these trees, the risk that they will burn is significantly lowered. Once professionally roasted, this delicious bean creates a rich, smooth coffee that is right at home as a filter coffee, or brewed to perfection in a cafetiere. Based on the characteristics of this variety, you might like to try our Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.

Ava ★★★★★

The mild roast is perfect for my afternoon cup, and I love knowing the beans were shaded by banana trees while growing. It's smooth without any bitterness.

Charlotte P. ★★★★★

Brewed my first cup this morning and the mild strength is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. The beans smell wonderfully earthy, probably from growing under those banana trees in the Andes.

Olivia ★★★★☆

Nice body on this one — the mild roast brews up smooth without any bitterness, even if I let it steep a bit long. The cool shade growing seems to do something for the flavor; it's got a gentle, rounded finish that's become my morning default. Just wish the bag had a resealable top.
