The bag is hefty at nearly a kilo, so it’s a good value for the price, and the chocolate-and-caramel undertones really come through even before roasting. I’m not a wine person, but that fruity hint is definitely there.

These beans have a really unique floral aroma that hits you as soon as you open the bag, and the fruity notes come through beautifully in the cup. I've been experimenting with light roasts to preserve that wine-like character, and the chocolate undertone makes for a smooth, complex morning brew.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wine-like acidity in these beans after roasting them light—brought out such a nice floral finish. The chocolate undertones really shine in a pour-over.
