I was pleasantly surprised how the nutty notes from the beans really come through alongside the chocolate, making it feel more complex than a typical flavored coffee. It’s smooth enough to drink black, which is rare for me.

This is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up—the hazelnut and chocolate notes are smooth without being heavy, and it’s mild enough that I can have a cup well into the evening without feeling wired.

The chocolate really comes through in every sip, but it’s the hazelnut that lingers nicely on the finish—makes a perfect mid-afternoon cup without any bitterness. I’ve brewed it both black and with a splash of milk, and it holds up well either way.
